It's a real shame I can't give 0 stars, Midas Hoppers Crossing doesn't even deserve 1 star. I took my vehicle in as there was a noticeable radiator leak, I asked them to have a look and quote the repair. I went away and returned an hour later. Upon returning, I was told that they pressure tested the radiator and it failed the test. I was informed that this leak is not fixable due to the radiator not holding pressure and I require a full replacement. I was then quoted $850.00 for a full replacement supplied and fitted. I was also informed that I require a new starter motor as they thought it was making a strange sound when they started the car. This replacement was quoted at $510.00. They also quoted me $690 for rear brake replacement. I wanted a second opinion because I felt that all this was far too expensive. I went to Reg Radiator repairs who took the car and assessed it on the spot. I felt an opinion from a radiator specialist would be a good idea before I proceed to replace the radiator. Reg pressure tested the radiator in front of me and showed me that it passed the test without any issues. Reg inspected the radiator and found the leak was coming from the radiator cap that was worn. The cap was replaced, area was cleaned and the leak is completely gone. Reg also took my vehicle down to a local mechanic who looked at the starter motor and informed me that there is nothing wrong with that either. They assessed the brakes and their quote was $310 for he same repair., Shame on you Midas Hoppers Crossing for lying to me about your findings and trying to rip me off for something that was a simple fix. It's dodgy, rip off workmanship like yours that make other workshops in the industry look bad.

The guy name Shawn from Midas Hopperscrossings lied to me on price. He told me the cost of part is $680 from Mazda only whereas I discovered later from Mazda the actual cost of part is $469. I got overcharged without any transparency on price. I ended up paying $800 to Midas and over paid $210 which they refuse to fix. This is not appropriate.

The mechanics are good and professional where as the receptionist and the supervisor are the rudest people I ever saw. Changed my car AC fan with them and asked for the invoice of the fan to check whether it was bought from a genuine dealer. The receptionist felt that I don’t trust her and made a scene and immediately the supervisor went inside and dumped the old part in front of me and kept in my car with all the dust and debris. The behaviour and the situation became so uncomfortable as if I asked for a wrong thing. I’ll never recommend and will never ever go there again.

Great service, friendly staff, always explains everything to me. Calls if there are any other problems with the car and lets me know how much it will cost before they go ahead with the work.

Will be coming back and recommending it to all my family and friends. Midas hoppers crossing saved me from overspending elsewhere for things my car did not need.

Midas staffs, especially a certain Mr. Scott, he was so helpful. Managed to change my flat car battery, checked my old battery, gave advice and charged very reasonable fees. Despite his injury on his foot, walked all the way to my car parked at Werribee Plaza. Kudos to Midas.

Midas Hoppers Crossing was easy to get to. I was greeted politely and given an estimated time of completion , which was quicker than I expected. On picking up my car, I was informed of everything that had been done and something that needed my attention now. Everything was professional and polite with a few jokes. Felt comfortable leaving my car and on pick-up was happy with the way my car drove. Recommend Midas highly.

these guys do good work. There are no suprises when they give you a run down on what is going on. They are not the cheapest nor are they the most expensive. Sean the mamager will tell you straight up what is happening.

I especially appreciated that they explained other work that I need done for my car and gave me time frames for that work to be done. Shawn just did an amazing job with my Hyundai I -30. He has excellent knowledge, he is very patient and was very economical. I had approached several mechanic before Midas and none of them could diagnose the problem. Shawn was not only able to fix the problem but my car has never run so smoothly before after servicing from Midas Thanks Shawn!

I took my car in for a secondary review by another mechanic due to reoccurring oil leaking after Midas mechanic did the work Firstly, i was overcharged x3 for the parts. Their diagnostic was not thorough.l during the initial major service. Overall, I had to spend additional $1k to have the mechanical issue fixed after Midas had their go (spending over $3k including major service) It’s an expensive exercise dealing with Midas.

Took my car in for a logbook service, from the start point of calling in to making a booking to being told my car is ready for pick up, these guys were on the ball. The cost was way better than what I had been quoted at other shops, I was well informed while they worked on my car and the staff were all pleasant to deal with.

I have been an unhappy customer with my local machenic for the past three years and the reason I kept on going back to him was to support my friend’s business. Then I decided to take my 2015 Ford XLT 3.2ltr to Midas Hoppers Crossing for a full service and repairs. The shop manager called to inform what they diagnosed and what needed repairs. My Ute was back to how I expected it very satisfied and for the price I paid ($380) was way less than what I expected as for the staffs they’re very friendly and honest. Two weeks ago I went back with my Toyota Hiace van for service and once again I’m a very happy customer and I will be back with the wife’s car soon. Keep up the good work guys

***Warning to potential customers*** These guys tried to tell my missus she needs pads, battery & wipers. Red flag was I changed the wipers a month ago. She told them no to the battery & wipers but said she'll check about the pads. When she called up to confirm to just do the service, they've conveniently already started on the pads. Manager is rude with a real bad attitude. We won't be paying for the pads so will be interesting to pick it up this afternoon.

Just a normal service and all the details of faults with the car were listed, as I have an old commodore I was expecting some, buy they have gone over and above to give me all the problems and the price to fix each and every problem ,

Great service by Shaun and his staff. Always professional and honest. Thankyou for helping me out today with an unannounced last minute emergency that was a minor problem even though RACV diagnosed as a major problem that was supposedly going to cost much more than it did. Legends!

I tried few times regular normal service, it was ok however they screwed up my car in last service, better avoid asking them to fix any issues, they do not look like competent and definitely don’t just follow blindly their advise to replace any parts, good learning for me, may not go back to them again.

Rear shock absorbers replaced with a quality brand for a reasonable price. No issues with the service.

The team at Midas hoppers are so good , my car was overheated on Friday at 4.30 pm. , I came to them closing time around 4.55 pm , told me he will keep the car in the warehouse and have a look at. Monday , called me Monday , the repairs were so good and affordable , got my car back back the same week on Friday , it was running like brand new smooth , thanks Shaun or Shawn , your a legend , definitely recommend these guys for all your car servicing needs
