Very helpfull great people to deal with,rebuilt an old alternator for me,great attention to detail,excellent pricing,could not believe how quickly it was reco'd.

After having a terrible experience with a local auto electrician, I needed someone to rectify the many problems, mistakes and damage he had done. Cranbourne Auto Electrical were amazing and fixed everything so my car is once again safe to drive. Can’t recommend them highly enough and will be a loyal customer in the future!

Very friendly, well experienced and knowledgeable staff! My air conditioning in my Honda Civic 2006 lost its cool and they had no problems finding the fault and repairing my unit. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends! Thank you again!

These guys are amazing. They went out of their way to fix our work vehicle which had to be towed from Thomastown. Even though they were booked out, they fixed the problem straight away so we could get back on the road and at a very reasonable rate. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Did a booking to replace starter motor via phone on Wednesday, 15th Feb 22 at 8 am. I could not call and confirm the booking on the day prior for lack of time. I called Cranbourne auto electrical on the day at around 8:15 am to confirm if they had the part and if I could bring the vehicle in ASAP and the business owner confirmed yes. So I called the tow truck who picked the car up at 9:30 am. Reached there at 10 am. I spoke to the owner (Rob) and he started confirming my contact details. I started the conversation by saying I am sorry I was late, as I wanted to confirm the booking before calling the towing company. I told him if I got a confirmation via email or sms I would have come on time. And the owner replied saying, “are you telling me my staff are inefficient in not sending a written confirmation”, “I am not obliged to do that”. Then I replied by saying that is what I experienced with other businesses. At this point something clicked in him and he said “it is my choice to take a job or not, you made me upset and so I have decided to not take your job anymore. I said, “I called before coming, I hired a towing truck after you said yes” But he replied “you made me upset and I have decided to not do your job”. I said I am sorry if I upset you, but this is not good business practice, I paid someone to bring my car here, after you said yes to this job over the phone. But he just kept reiterating that I made him upset. I asked him for a reason. He said he already told me and asked me to leave the premise. But I was still hopeful for a change of heart so stayed and tried to convince him. But then he started pushing me through the doorway and two staff members came to help him push me out. All I was trying to do by standing there was to try to reason to his humanity. To no avail, and when I spoke to the tow driver about what happened, the owner kept asking me to leave his premise. I guess he was having a bad day, but that doesn’t mean he can take it out with his customers. So this was my experience, I have been waiting for a tow truck pickup (2 hours and counting) while writing this review. Moral: Get a written quote from this business, otherwise they might just their mind and you won’t be able to do anything about it.

Been seeing Rob for motor servicing and electrical needs for the best part of a decade and a half. His expertise, service and the customer experience is always outstanding!

I would strongly not recommend Cranbourne Auto Electrical and Mechanic. I took my car to Rob who assessed my car for an electrical fault. He advised me that I needed a new alternator at $460. I thought this was unusual as this didn’t match the symptoms of my car. I decided to get a second opinion. Upon telling Rob, that I was going to take it to a family friend for a second opinion he immediately changed his tone and was not very friendly. Two days later I took the car to another mechanic who told me the alternator was in perfect working order, and all that was needed was cleaning of the battery terminals and fixing up of some loose wiring and connections. The car has been working perfectly since, and thank god I didn’t get a the alternator replaced as Rob recommended. I was very disappointed with what appears to be a lazy assessment by the mechanic, and the lack of interest when assessing the electrical fault properly with my car. I was also disappointed with the unprofessionalism when notifying that I was going to get a second opinion.

Professional, friendly local business! Called in unannounced to have a battery issue diagnosed in my partners car. A new battery was fitted and I was on my way in half an hour at a very competitive price. I have used this business multiple times and will return in the future! Thank again. Highly recommended. Great customer service and very prompt repair

I DON'T recommend to anyone, very bad experience .Costumer service rating at zero, over charging with out doing the job ; they are lazy.I am angry and furious about how I was treated. It's really discusting there was no explanation I reagrated why on earth l came to this place.

Rob - is great with auto elec’ stuff - he fitted my winch , driving lights ,tow pack , brake controller and Anderson plug , cb radio , 2nd battery and management system plus solar etc . All work is by neat and works by perfectly .
