Ben unfortunately didn’t have time to fix my car (although I was trying to get it done the same day). However, he very kindly made time to have a look at my car to see what was wrong and what work was required so that I could tell another mechanic what needed doing. And then he lined me up with a friend of his who is also a mechanic but wasn’t as busy. I found Ben to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend! After being disappointed with other mechanical repairers, I found Sparks Mech via a Google search. The reviews spoke very highly of Ben, so I decided to give him a go. Just speaking with Ben over the phone and describing my vehicle behavior, I knew I had found an honest and knowledgeable mechanic finally. His diagnosis, by phone, of my vehicle issues was correct, and the final price was as he had quoted. When you collect your car, Ben goes into detail to describe the work he has performed and shows you the old parts he replaced, which I appreciate. I have no hesitation in recommending Sparks Mechanical Services

Ben is knowledgeable and helpful. I've been a customer of his for several years and can recommend him as being a trustworthy mechanic. He doesn't rip me off with unnecessary minor repairs and gives an honest opinion of what essential repairs are needed.

We live very close to the shop and Ben went out of his way to come around and checked the car for us as RACQ said something was wrong with the engine. Ben took the car for a drive and the car turned out to be okay. Wouldn't use any other shop for future car repairs.

Only ringed to ask for a quote, the man is absolutely legend! Not only gave me a detail quote also told me what to watch out when I am quoting with other mechanics on the phone regardless he is too busy and not be able to help. So helpful and generous with his profession and knowledge!! Will definitely come back in the future

Visited this place on Monday 14 after my engine had turned off without reason (the same day within 15minutes). He was honest about the fact that no faults turned up. Gave me a lot of knowledge as to what it could be, what my options were, and fixed a separate issue I had. I have driven a few times now and so far had no problems since. For the 3 things replaced alongside service it was well priced!

Came to Ben to try and figure out what two other mechanics couldn't. He was able to fix it same day! Very decent bloke and very knowledgeable. Cheers Ben

UPDATE: I have since been back to Ben to service my car and I'm very happy with his work, customer service, price and patience as he always answers my 5000 questions about all things cars! I also had to get Ben to order some new indicator lights and he installed them with no charge for labour. Thanks again Ben! Ben was great from the first point of contact (phone call) to the follow up of booking in my vehicle, to completing the job. An honest mechanic you can trust is hard to find but I believe Ben is just that. Thanks again and see you for my next service ????????

I can’t fault Ben’s customer service, communication and workmanship. Ben is open and honest about how much the work is going to be and tries to do as much as he can without it costing a fortune. Had a broken brake light switch and rang up after closing with the hopes of leaving a voicemail to get my car seen the next day but my call was answered and was told to bring my car down as it was a quick fix! Part was in and replaced in 2 minutes and I was good to go. Amazing local and personable service, will definitely be returning!

First time we had used Sparks Mechanical and we will definitely be using their services again. Communication was great. Location easy to find. Price very reasonable. Time to service the car, was quick. I also appreciated how they let me know what my car will be needing on future visits.

I was after a quick and low-cost solution to replacing a car mirror that had been knocked off, and Ben was really helpful! He gave me good, practical advice about my options, ordered the new part in, and even painted it for me. I was really happy with the both the price and the result, and would definitely use Ben’s services again in the future :)
