My partner and I were lured in with a great deal from an approaching spruiker in a shopping centre carpark (red flags, I know). When I took the car in for a servce, I was hit with a dubiously extensive list of problems, charged extra for the "premium" variety of oil, and a few weeks later my front right wheel starts making some sinister noises. Being suspicious of the business conduct, I opted for a local mechanic to diagnose the issue and it turns out all the clips, except for one, were missing from the inner-wheel and front stone tray... Just can't help but suspect that this was all a ploy to have me return and fork more out under the pretext of it being the cause of one of the unresolved "issues" found. It all felt really shady.

I've always felt a little untrusting of mechanics, charge like wounded bulls and do very little and generally have an apprentice do the work, that's my experience with my BMW X3... This place however I've been to on several occasions, their pricing is very respectable, their service and communications is outstanding, the quality of their workmanship is commendable and great to see a female mechanic in the workshop. Great job guys, keep up the good work????

The best service you could ask for was delivered by these guys.i had a ouncture and air level sensors going off on all my tyres. After being turned away from 2 other reputable tyre services as they were too busy, these guys managed to squeeze me in saving me a 50km drive home on a space saver tyre on the highway. They repaired the puncture and adjusted air pressure levels on other tyres to stop the sensors going off. Josh and the team, thankyou. The service was first class.

Would not go there, underpricing a service then quotes an exorbitant fees. Literally charges 50 minutes of labour just to change spark plugs. Unless cars have recently changed, does not take that long. Acts dumb when you question the quote and labour charges. Literally does not care about the car troubles you actually need work on. Will suggest work on car issue that doesn't resolve the issue, wasting your money. Very unsatisfactory scam operation.

I had an overheating problem with my BMW 320d. Josh and the team were very friendly to deal with, found the issue on my BMW quickly and had it back to me with minimal fuss. It cost what Josh said it would and I feel as though it was good value for money. I recommend this business to anybody who needs mechanical work done on their car... I plan to use Rapid Tune in the future.

Excellent mechanics who did a very thorough job on the log book service on my Lexus. The team are good to deal with: having great communication and doing honest work. I highly recommend these mechanics.

Booked in my Ute to have the gearbox sumo threads repaired helicoil. Got the car back and was leaking oil sent the car back to stop the leak again and rapid tune had the car for a whole day just to plug up the threads with black silicon. Do not see this as a fit fix from a reputable mechanic company and is dodgy for future maintenance. Will not be going back Cheers

I can't recommended this place enough. Even though my partner arranged the service on our family car and I only really dealt with them when I picked it up, I got a really "professional family business" vibe from this place. Little touches like them dropping my partner home after dropping the car off and picking me up from home when it was done, and the courtesy phone call around mid way through the service to let me know how it was going really left a good feeling with me. I spoke to the owner of the business when I picked the car up, and he was a really easy guy to talk to and clearly passionate about his cars. He even offered some advice and tips on looking after our aging car. Seriously, give these guys a call when your next service is due, you won't be disappointed.

I will be seeing you shortly as I am very dissatisfied and recently found out you left my break fluid cap lose in my engine and now air has gotten into my break fluid and I have squishy breaks.

I was lured by the $199 service voucher for 12months car service worth $1077 total savings in 2022 and got my first service at $49. In the second service, I was told that my 16 years old Toyota Corolla needed new front brake pad. The voucher included a $127 discount offer for a break pad, so I asked for the front brake pad. The total cost was $466, including $100 air filter, cabin filter, $190 machine grinding of the LHS and RHS front break disc rotors. Six months later, I took the car to another mechanic for a service, was told the front break pad needed replacement asap. I also found out the front rotors were replaced 18 months ago. Not happy!! Since my first bad review, I had contacted Rapid Tune Morningside, Josh the owner replaced the front break pad, under warranty, on the same day. Has someone forgotten to replace the break pad six months ago? Oh no, but thanks Josh for your quick action!

Terrible experience. Could’ve done zero star if possible. Called yesterday for labor quote replacing brakes pads and rotors for front and back wheels( parts provided). Was advised that the labor was around $120 per hour and it would take one and half hours to complete the job. Was asked to drop the car around 1pm. Waited till 4.30pm for someone working on the job and had it done around 5.30pm. Then was asked to pay doubled price as the lady was saying the quote was for one set of brakes. She forgot that the quote was actually based on the labor hours, regardless the numbers of sets. Ended up paying $370 as I was sick and tired arguing after waiting the entire afternoon. Dodgy provider! On the way driving home, alert popped up asking checking Tyre pressure! Well done!!!!! Do not use this service!

I bought some tyres from Tyroola and had them fitted by Rapid tune. They fitted a second hand tyre for me as well and didn’t charge me. Happy with the service and would use them again.

The staff is very friendly, also they did a good job reviewing my car.

Competitive pricing. Customer service was great, good communication and even let me know about some specials that I wasn't aware of to bring down my bill.

Being a contractor I need to be on the road, yesterday without previously using rapid tune I had phoned them as my van had a immediate problem that needed to be fixed, not only did they get the van in straight away but the repair and service was all fixed in short notice and on the same day so give credit where it is due. Thanks again

Guy and the team at Rapid Tune Morningside were great! They understood my requirement to get my car repaired and roadworthied ASAP and they delivered. Highly recommend!

Quick and efficient! Came in with my two girls, waited for our tyres to be changed, they had a nice airconditioned waiting area they had colouring in books, reading books and pencils everything to entertain kids! So impressed! Staff were lovely to talk to!

A week later my brakes started grinding. I got a second independent opinion and my brakes were metal on metal and extremely dangerous and I was told not to drive my car until it got fixed. I was also told 2 tyres were bald on one side. I rang and told Rapidtune and they listened but I will not be using them for anything ever again. They were very polite and nice on the phone and appeared helpful and knowledgeable when I was getting the service. But sadly they did not look after me at all and put my life at risk with their incompetence. I just don’t want this happening to anyone else

There was one separate issue that I did not go ahead with but they specifically told me my brakes and tyres were fine and this was so far from the truth.

I had mistakenly overfilled my oil and drove the car about 5 minutes I called my roadside out and they told me my battery was flat and the oil was overfilled ( obviously ) I towed my car to this business and then the mechanic has sent me things I needed done and kept adding on other things and I do not know much about cars so I said yes to the work but then kindly asked to just focus only on what is needed to have my car running and I can focus on the other stuff at a later time. The mechanic told me they wouldn’t be able to finish my car until the next day then all of a sudden I have a text that my car is fixed. My partner picks my car up and notices that the alternator was changed with a second hand one but I was charged $822 which is obviously for a brand new one with labour. My partner calls and they offer to refund half the money. I am taking my vehicle into another mechanic to check the other work that was carried out and get an opinion if any of it was even needed to have my car running. I posted this to social media with the work they have done and images and Invoice and over 50 mechanics have said I have been robbed or should report them to current affair I have sent an email to auto tune but they have not responded to me as I would like everything in writing. I have even provided my EFT details as they requested with no refund. I will be having no choice but to take them to a small claims court and report them to whoever because it’s quite upsetting being a female and having a company rob you of your money. Please respond to my emails as I would like a refund

Steer clear of this business for significant car repairs as they seem to overcharge. They presented me with a $5,000 bill for engine issues, yet I was astonished to find the same repairs for less than $2,000 elsewhere. It makes me wonder how much profit they made from the $2,000 I spent on brake repairs. They may be adequate for routine servicing, but for anything more substantial, it's honestly not worth it, and I am left feeling disappointed.

My wife's Kia carnival had a oil leak and Josh and Marlin were a great help to us at such short notice to put it up on the hoist on a Saturday morning and find out where it was coming from.They even stayed open a bit longer whilst Kia mechanics come down from Brendale with the parts to get us back on the road again.Once again thankyou so much for helping us out. TL/DR overflow tank was removed sandwiched against the engine and not placed back in it’s brace causing it to melt and empty its content. When confronted owner tried to blame us and dodge responsibility although this happened next day after receiving the. I do not trust anything they do. I do not recommend this mechanic. I dropped off my partners car to have a regular service and received an additional quote of $1,500+ worth of items to be fixed/addressed. I assumed the mechanics are on top of everything and all these items are in fact urgent, I did not question the total amount or the amount of hours and proceeded to get the work done. End of the day I received a call from the owner saying one of the parts took longer to be sourced and will require the car to stay an additional day, a slight inconvenience but fine. Next day my partner picked up the car and drove to work, on the way back she noticed white smoking coming out of the car and a burning smell she pulled over and parked the car not to cause any further damage and we went back to the car next morning to find out the mechanics at Rapid Tune have removed the overflow tank from its place near the battery when they were working on the car and placed sandwiched between the engine and the radiator which caused it to melt and empty its content, we were lucky that it did not catch fire. Now I understand having a busy garage/business and mistakes being made and I was approaching this from an understanding and compassionate place, however when the owner of the garage contacted me next morning his response to the incident was and I quote “we did not do any work on the radiator, we did not touch the overflow tank” - deflecting and trying to dodge responsibility was really unprofessional and does not reflect well on a business. How else would the overflow tank magically remove itself from the brackets and lodge itself against the engine when my partner had to Google how to open the hood? I do not trust this establishment
