The guys at Rapid tune Langwarrin were so friendly and helpful. On very short notice on a 32 degree day, I came with a punctured tyre. I was seen to straight away, spare put on and told to come back in a few hours,so efficient!The guys here are friendly and the service was great. Thanks team at rapid tune,I will most definitely recommend your services.

I highly recommend the team at Rapid Tune Automotive Services after an excellent experience. I desperately, and urgently needed my flat tyre repaired, and despite the time of them being busy, they helped me out promptly. They are professional, thorough, willing to go the extra mile and have superb customer service. They are honest, helpful, work to a very high standard of proficiency and have certainly gained a new regular customer in me.

Went in for general service and air con service. Was on 2 weeks holidays from being a mechanic myself, and ran out of time to service my own car at work. Thought I was going to a reliable place until I was halfway up the black spur with an oil leak. After an hour of waiting around, and my first day of holidays ruined it was found out the the oil filter o ring was not fitted correctly. Then had to go out and get a new one and lost about a litre and a half of oil. It’s been 3 weeks now and no refund, and a complete stuff around trying to contact them to get one, so hopefully they will see this. Pretty appalled to be honest, and do not recommend at all.

Exceptional customer service, over and above the usual. One of my cars had an unknown issue, but Tim kept me in the loop all through the process, even when he had to be out of the shop for a few days, making sure I had a loan vehicle while the issue was dealt with. Very happy ?

I’m a new customer, my car was quite overdue for a service. The staff were lovely, did the service promptly, and called me as the breaks and tyres needed attention, which they completed also. Everything was very reasonably priced, friendly guys in the shop, good communication. Can recommend!

Just wanted to thank the guys at Rapid Tune Langwarrin - repaired my Aunty's Mitsubishi ASX puncture without charging (Tues 22 March) after my Uncle passed away. They were professional, timely and excellent - young guys running a great business with compassion. Definitely recommend.

My brakes have been squeaking , so I dropped in to ask the special young man at the desk whether he could fix them … He (Tim ) was so obliging and immediately came out to inspect my brakes. I could feel that he was honest and obliging , he said and showed me that the front brakes were okay but the back were down … they communicated well and stayed back a good half hour bc. I have been using Rapid Tune Langwarrin, for about 12 months now. I am actually a motor mechanic myself, but after a workplace injury, can no longer do my own vehicle repairs. During this time, I’ve very impressed with the level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail, that they have displayed. I have no problem in recommending them! I trained with Mercedes Benz, then went on to work with race teams, overseas, so have seen some of the best mechanics at work. Tim, and the team, are up there, great knowledge, but with very reasonable prices. They had no idea of my background, when I first went there, and were in no way dishonest, try to up sell, or suggest unnecessary things. If you are looking for what literally is, the old school, corner service station mechanics, with the personalised service to match, but all the new school knowledge, then look no further! Thank you, once again!

Having an issue with my Honda timing chain and Tim has been so helpful, open and honest about the problem. Today he actually showed me with a torch what the problem was with the cam cover off. My left rear tyre was tested low pressure on our way to Enchanted Park, and didn’t go back to normal after I airing it. The staff help me check and gave suggestions that it was worn out and better be replaced. I got a spare one in the trunk and when I asked how much will it cost to replace the tyre, he said he can help me for free????Even though they were closing at 1pm and we didn’t make appointment. They changed the tyre in 5 mins, and we were good to go. Today is very hot and the tyre is so heavy. I would have no idea of how I can do with it, and it would have ruined our day. I really appreciated the help????????????????????????

Tim and his team were brilliant Repair left and right control arms. It was a big job! Had a flat tyre and called in one night just b4 closing. Nice young guys said drop back tomorrow and they can help me out. I dropped my car there in the morning and they sorted the tyre straight away. I was surprised when they said no charge. Such a nice thing for them to do. I was so impressed and humbled by their kindness.

Absolutely terrible, avoid if you can. They will smile at you and sound very promising. Had my van with them for 3 weeks for RWC (!), Spoke to them about the urgency and booked with them for Monday 9 AM. They didn't touch my car untill 2 PM. Walked up to the mechanic to ask what he's done and he said he's been working on changing the fuel pump (first thing I asked as well as an AC service and pressure test). 2 mins later the manager comes up to me and tells me that everything has been done. I imagine they want to stay busy, but being dishonest about time or abilities is not the way to go. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

My best friend and I were headed to the city from the Peninsula and encountered a flat tyre along the way. We stopped off to use the petrol's air hose and both of us had no idea what we were doing so luckily for us the owner Rino and his amazing staff came over to help us. Super friendly and helpful staff that made us feel comfortable and actually showed us what to do in these situations. Michael fixed the puncture on my tyre with no hassles. It is great to see service like this still being provided and we were so grateful as I had an important appointment to get to in the city. Thanks guys - Absolute legends!!!

Wow wow wow! I have never experienced such professional and compassionate service in my life! I called Rapid Tune from home with a flat tyre, unable to put the spare tyre on myself to get down there. Andrew offered to drive out to me and change it himself, taking the punctured tyre with him to get repaired. He arrived within 5 mins and had the spare tyre on in 15 with the puncture fixed within the hour - what a legend! And to top it off they did all of this free of charge! I honestly can’t thank you enough Andrew and Rapid Tune. Not only are they amazing at what they do but they really do go above and beyond for their customers. I’ve been using them for years and they continue to amaze me. Thank you so so much! I highly recommend these guys .. but that’s pretty obvious. ???? ???? ????

Very honest mechanic. I had a RWC done and they were professional in all their dealings with me. They booked me in quickly and explained what needed to be done to pass. I completed the required work myself and then re presented the car to pass the RWC.

Timothy explained very clearly (and without any condescension) what was currently needed for my car service and which issues could be left until my next service. Called rapid tune to get a quote on a replacement exhaust after running over a chunk of cement. Was told to come in and they’d take a quick look on the hoist to see what the damage was; within half an hour my issue was fixed and Tim had me back on the road. They’ve always been quick and straightforward, excellent service and reasonable prices

Scammers. Partners car went in for service. Nearly $2000 dollars later with no paperwork. When asked for a brake down of costing things like, headlight cleaner and things of the sort were added to the bill to make up the cost. To top it off, it went in for service as read brake light was out, got it back with light still out. Stay clear as I have heard from multiple people of similar issues.

Shout out to Rino who helped out this damsel in distress. I pulled into the servo to check the air in my tires only to discover a bolt in my tire, so needed to change the tire. Rino saw me struggling and came over and helped me out and even did a puncture repair for me!! A wonderful polite and respectful mechanic who explained everything to me and definitely went above and beyond. Thanks!!

Went in today, a bit embarrassed as I asked if someone could please explain to me how to check my car’s tyre pressure. One of the staff gladly and thoroughly explained to me how to do it. Very thankful and will definitely come back if I need anything done.

The guys fixed my punctured tyre. No charge!! Also answered several questions regarding my vehicle in enthusiastic terms. Great Stuff. Will be taking my car there in the future for all servicing and repairs.

Had daughters car in there to be fixed. Called later that day to collect. Went down there, car not ready. 3 days later collected car. not fixed. 2 weeks later same problem, car went in, a week later car not fixed. (at this point I understand sometimes its hit and miss and trying to isolate problems based on the most common). That said every time I call for an update, I get a different person telling me different things. Car goes in a third time. RACV indicate wiring was not reconnected properly, as battery light was coming on, and noted fuel hose not correctly re-attached, leaking fuel. Take it back again to fix the hose and battery, get home to steam and radiator hose not connected. Previous hose that was not attached properly- received bill to replace (including new hose) which has not been replaced, nor is it fixed. If what I can clearly see if not being properly fixed I can only imagine what I cannot see....

So upset about my experience with Rapid Tune Langwarrin. Firstly, late last year I brought my car in as it was making a rattling sound when driving at higher speeds, I was told it needed a transmission flush, this was completed and paid for. I noticed soon afterwards the sound was still there, early this year the sound started getting worse, I rang Rapid Tune to book in for a service and asked that when they do the service could they check the car again for free, as I don't think it was checked properly last time, as the sound is still there. I was told that would be fine, however later when I checked the invoice I was charged for a check over again! I was also informed that the issue is actually the drive shaft, and they will call me to book in to fix this, they never called me. So I called them and asked for a discount to fix this, they said I can discuss when I bring the car in. I decided to go see another mechanic instead, recommended on local Facebook pages, as something didn't feel right, well this other business had 2 mechanics check over my car completely and informed me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my drive shaft!!! It was the rear wheel bearings all along, they fixed the issue and I have had no more rattling sound. I then emailed Rapid Tune Langwarrin, to provide feedback and I also asked for a refund for the checks they did not complete properly, and I have had no reply and they have not provided a refund! I do not recommend this place and do not find it trustworthy. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately it was a horrific experience, I rang three times over the day to get quotes and prices for my tyres which there store manger assured me twice she would email me the different tyres. After waiting 24 hours with still nothing I rang and had to speak to someone else to actually get them ordered in and priced. Poor customer service. Turned up To the appointment and it took them over 2 hours to change 4 tyres was hard to watch. Never again will I use them I hope they can improve from some feedback

The worst experience I've ever had at any single mechanic. From the start I was put under the assumption that somebody who understood working on my Mitsubishi Delica would be the one working on it. This was not the case. After 4 months now of chasing the problem upstream which I can understand the difficulty with. But this is a top down problem. Mechanics should be encouraged to not take on things that they don't understand how to fix. Or if Problems seem too complicated they should drop them. To conserve energy in order to do their job more effectively. The mechanics who worked on my car were good mechanics. Every time they talk to me through what was happening it was very much understandable. But the length of time in between contact and updates on what was going on with my car was unreasonable. That's why I say that this was a top down problem. This is the most mismanaged business I have ever been in contact with. After 4 months of pressuring their mechanics to do more and more they finally got an admin staff. A single person. To do a large amount of work for an outdated system. I will not be returning to this mechanic. I can not recommend rapid tune in good conscience. The explanation as to why the staff at rapid tune We're not getting paid enough. Nowhere near award rate was inadequate. More like an it is what it is explanation. I could take further legal action for the mishaps that have happened, but I would rather just post this and be completely done with all energy relating to this space. This has once again shown me how to not run a business. I hope the owner reads this and takes on the constructive criticism that's given amongst an immense amount of frustration and sees how I am trying to temper myself. Which they could do with a lot more of as every time I communicated with them on the phone it was a money thing not a cultivating a good brand image thing. This brand is shot in my eyes. Meaning the reputation is actively being flushed down the toilet. All blessings to the mechanics involved. Turns out you need to do your own work on your cars so you don't get ripped off and taken for a ride because of bad management. True to my name, this shop did their best to create another one ???? Peace and love.

Langwarrin Rapid Tune are the most incompetent, dishonourable and dishonest garage I’ve had the misfortune to use in more than 45 years of motoring. What should have been a 1-day job they turned into a 3-month saga. Car was dropped off to have a damaged serpentine belt replaced and they later contacted me telling the alternator needed replacing as it was full of fibre and bits of the belt, numerous mechanics I have since spoken with have told me it was unnecessary for that reason that Rapid tune gave me. Over 2 weeks later, what should of been a 4 hr job was done after repeatedly contacting them for updates and being told the car would be ready tomorrow. When pushed the only answer I got was that my car wasn’t a priority. When I managed to reclaim my vehicle it had numerous dash warning lights displayed and inactive gauges that Rapid Tune stated on the invoice was due to the serpentine belt damaging some electrical wiring and that I would need to see an auto electrician to fix. I had to wait 3 weeks for a booking only to be told the wiring was fine and they reported that Rapid Tune had not only connected the Alternator leads the wrong way around causing the warning lights and gauges to fault, they had also damaged the water pump flywheel when replacing the alternator and had bunched electrical wiring with cable ties instead of using the proper brackets to secure. When approached Rapid Tune agreed to replace the flywheel and secure electrical cables properly, also to reimburse me the cost of the 2nd workshop. They have done the repairs but after 4 weekly requests from me repay my costs and promises from Rapid tune to do so and nothing happening, I am now resigned to taking further action with consumer affairs.

Great and fantastic service. Shout out for a whole team. Me and my colleague went to Frankston for a site inspection from Dandenong and on the way back, one of the tyres got punctured. The guys here can't be more helpful and professional. Upon pulling up to the workshop, Josh quickly jacked up the car and checked the punctured tyre. He was honest enough to tell me it is fixable and had it done within minutes while we waited. Thank you and great job guys!

I cannot stress enough how BAD our experience has been with Rapid Tune Langwarrin. Our vehicle went in for a simple road worthy on the 11th April 2024. We had paid and been told our road worthy was completed. A week later we were still chasing where our road worthy was. When speaking with Rapid Tune they told us that Vic Roads had lost our paperwork because of an incorrect rego number. We later discovered that our vehicle had not even left their site to get the road worthy. We discovered this as it was a company vehicle and still had the tracker. After 3 weeks of chasing and being told it had been done and being lied to Rapid Tune ended up getting the road worthy. The car drove really well so we were surprised to get back faults which would cost $3,120.60 to pass the road worthy. Now regretting this we paid the $3,120.60 to get the repairs necessary to get the road worthy. This time when going in for the road worthy it failed because of an engine light that came on after the repairs were carried out by rapid tune. At this time, it was not stated to us that the car was running poorly. The only thing told to us was the engine light was on. So now we are in June and Rapid Tune have had the vehicle well over 2 months and still cannot find the cause of the engine light. Finally, we had had enough of chasing and told Rapid Tune we were picking up the vehicle and going to another mechanic. Upon picking up the vehicle we were totally shocked how bad the car shook and spluttered whilst driving. We returned the vehicle the very next morning pointing out that we never drove the car in doing this. Tim agreed to this, and the worst thing was there was no engine light or error message coming up when Tim ran his test. We asked them to fix whatever they had done to make it run this way. After numerous phone calls, we were being told they had pulled the engine apart and the car was undriveable. We are now at the end of June 24 and just want the car put back together running the way it was when we first brought in. I asked them to have the car put back together by Wednesday 3rd July 24 as we would just take it to another mechanic. So, we are now Wednesday, 3rd July 24. Our vehicle is still pulled apart and undriveable. We are now being informed from Reno the owner of Rapid Tune Langwarrin that we were told the car was not running properly and it is a separate issue from the first repairs. Yet it amazes me it only happened straight after they had done their repairs. Their solution is to wait till they can get the vehicle diagnosed by LDV on the 30th JULY 24. Tim advised that they are understaffed and would not be able to put the car back into a drivable condition. So now we are left with having to pay for a tow truck and getting the vehicle back into a drivable condition. I also spoke briefly and text Craig the area manager, who said he would call me back as of, yet he has not called or responded to my text. There is no question at all I will be lodging my claim with VCat. I urge everyone to check that a qualified mechanic is working on your vehicle, and where possible make sure you get the service you are paying for.

After a long dispute that has gone no where, I recently had a problem with the quality of a service here. After being sent off after inspection of the vehicle I noticed after 2 days that the car was leaking oil, went to another mechanic (because I had doubts of Rapid Tunes service) to see what the problem was and it was confirmed to be that the sump plug was not secured properly and was actually stripped and the washer snapped, causing an oil leak that has left my drive way and the street with streaks of oil. If I had not noticed this, this could have caused more trouble to the car and the fact that Rapid Tune has done this is appalling.

Could not be happier with the friendly and efficient service I was provided with this morning. My tire was changed and my car returned to me with record speed and ease so I could continue with a busy work day. I would absolutely recommend their service and I will be back in the future.

Rang late one afternoon to enquire about a punctured tyre. Customer service was great, happy to work around morning school run. Turned up next morning, the guys knew who I was. Dropped the tyre off. Picked it up that night. All the team were friendly, no job too small, treated me no differently than anyone else. Will be trying to come back again for sure.

This place for any car repairs is amazing, the staff is very much professional and friendly and they got speedy hands as well. Highly recommended for cars which are across Melbourne. I went for puncture repair just before they get closed and they did the job for free I am very much thankful for young boys.
