Rapid Tune Ferntree Gully

Just wanted to give these guys a shout out. Replaced an airbag bitty myself and needed a code cleared out of the computer. If ya don't do that a big scary airbag is broken light and noise happens whenever you start the car. 2 minute job ie Plug in computer and hit clear code button. They did it for free and on the spot on a slow Friday arvo 'Yeah swing round, we'll sort you out. No charge.'. Sweet. I was quoted by some other mob '$100 and we'll need the car for half a day, is Wednesday any good for you?' Nope. And the static I got when I pointed out what they needed to do was insane. Why so much? Well, that computer is $5k (It's actually $1.5k for a top model one I checked) and it has to pay for itself somehow. I wonder if they whack an extra $1k bucks onto their oil changes cos the mechanical hoist is worth $50k. Maybe even $10k on top because the car uses it for 10 times longer too. No? Because that would be an insane ripoff of an oil change and show utter contempt for your customers? All righty then. Anyway, none of that rubbish from these guys, just friendly and helpful service. Cheers guys! If ever there is anything I can't tackle myself, you guys are on the list of good mechanics :D

These guys are brilliant. I was caught out by a strange banging at the rear of my car, 160km from home on a Saturday of a long weekend. They were quick to take it for a drive and confirmed the issue then proceeded to remedy on the spot. Much appreciated!

Fast, quick service. Had a front end knock. It was quickly diagnosed and repaired. Price was good also.

Randomly got a flat tyre and happend to go to rapid tune. They were kind enough to swap my tyre out with the spare, and check what went wrong with the exsisting tyre and didn't charge me for labour even though I was happy to pay thanks guys.

Had problems with 2007 Corolla running rough and engine light coming on. The guy diagnosed faulty coil on plug in a few minutes. .I was able to get one from Bursons nearby and fit it myself. . He wouldnt accep any money . A hige thanks.

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 stars! First of all the team are so lovely and efficient. My car broke down just outside (luckily) at 5:26pm on a Friday, and we all know how eager we all are to start the weekend. They picked up my call, told me to come on over and even though there were no replacement cars one of the lovely gentlemen lent me his! My transmission was fixed and was waaaay below the price I expected because they went above and beyond to find me a good deal. Not only that when I came to pick my car up she was cleaned for me too and when I was already blown away by this premium service I was handed a gift card to go towards my next service. Love you work guys thanks so much!

Absolutely fantastic service. I have got my car serviced multiple times, and they made an effort to haggle the cost of car parts down from suppliers when I had a bit more trouble with my car. It really feels like they care, and want to provide a service at a fair price. Highly recommend them!

These legends went above and beyond! Not only did they change my tyres out for me, but they also discovered that my spare tyre was the wrong size, so they fixed the puncture in my best old tyre and fitted it as the spare for no extra charge. 11/10!!!

The service team at FTG Rapid tune are amazing. Ive been going to them for many years now, and everytime the service team have gone above and beyond standard to ensure customer satisfaction. I recently needed a battery change, but instead of just replacing it, they did a full electronics diognostic, and also kept it overnight for a full electrival drainage test. The staff are extremely friendly, and will do whatever it takes to ensure full satisfaction. They also offer discounts of servicing everyso often, and you will be notified via text message. Ainsley and her team Jarrod & Keira are amazing, the customer service, reassurance & convenience is 10/10. From providing a courtesy car to the follow up and care taken with your vehicle. Do NOT get your car serviced at Rapid Tune FTG, especially if you’re a young girl like me with not much car knowledge. They ripped me off $3000 to get certain things ‘fixed’, when in actual fact they did not fix or replace a single thing. I had to go to another mechanic and have them tell me that nothing was done/fixed and my car was in horrible condition. I then had to spend even more money. Can you imagine how stressful and frustrating that was for me. This is extremely disappointing as I am a full time university student with not much money to begin with.

I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my car due to my old mechanic. These guys inspected my car, helped me identify the issue and even offered to speak to my old mechanic. They went above and beyond for me and I’m so greatful! I will be using them from now on! ????
