thank you rapid tune Epping for looking after my car. on my way to work my car started running rough and engine light started flashing i called shop and manager willians was very helpful he send his staff to check my car and manage to bring to shop and also offered me loan car. i am very thank full for rapid tune staff. very honest and professional mechanic i will 100% recommend. thank guys

Came for the first time after a family member reported an impressive experience. Although not close to where I live, the convenience of being provided a loan car not only compensates the distance but gives you peace of mind that they will take the necessary time to properly repair whatever is required. For the loan vehicle, you just have to return it with full tank, which is what you get when you take the car. I later learned that cars undergo a “test drive” before going back to customer to ensure everything is working fine. Outstanding customer service. Will certainly get my car serviced there from now on. Highly recommend them.

Absolute rip off, I had a bad vibe the last time I took my car for its routine service and I was given an incorrect analysis that my whole front suspension needed replacing and that it was unsafe to drive. I had a bad vibe and decided to go elsewhere and they Diagnosed some parts of the front suspension as needing work which would cost around $400, whereas Rapid Tune wanted to charge me $1000 for parts that didn't need replacing. I am so dissapointed in trusting them and have been for all my services and now I feel used and will never return. My advice, go elsewhere and do your research.

Bought 4 tyres from tyresale fitting at Rapid Tune Epping, excellent customer service and good communication, positive working attitude, quick response to customer's concerns, check wheel bearing noise for free and gave budget advice. I also got free alignment here when I select fitting service from tyresale listing. Free but nice work, accurate alignment, my car driving very stable now! Went in for a service and they literally did nothing too it a week later my oil light went back on no oil leaks nothing got it checked by other mechanic just for them too tell me that who ever serviced it hadn’t looked over anything, oil filter and air filter both still old, no top up of coolant wasn’t even notified that my tyres need to be changed soon Suprisingly

No good they serviced my auto transmission on Thursday have to take it back tomorrow it is slipping so bad in second l will not leave until it's fixed

I’ve been having cars serviced over 50 years and have come across a lot of rip off agents, so I was a bit nervous taking my car to Rapid Tune in Epping for the first time about four years ago (my car was well out of warranty and I didn’t want to use the expensive dealer any more). I was very pleasantly surprised by the the great service given by Will and his team. I have had my car serviced by them since then and have recommended them to family and friends who are also happy. They are honest, friendly, helpful, and always explain clearly what needs to been done. They never found so-called big problems, so I have found them very trustworthy. Over this time, my only extras have been expected expenses, such as tyres, battery, windscreen wipers etc. Otherwise, just very reasonable service cost. Highly recommend Will and his team.

Rapid Tune Epping was my go-to mechanic for a number of years, despite being warned multiple times by various friends that their prices were marked up. My last experience definitely proved this. My 2002 WRX had to get towed about a week ago, so I had it towed directly to Rapid Tune Epping. One week later they couldn't work out what the issue was, so they had to call in a third party auto electrician. They advised the culprit was a faulty fuel module. To order one, I’d have to wait 6 weeks directly from Japan. Total bill if I chose to proceed: $2450. Why the crazy cost? Because: ‘while we are at it, we may as well replace the fuel pump’. So I jump online and find a used Fuel Module for $70 posted. I call back and say I have the part, they then say in that case, total cost: $1900 - for a fuel pump, and labor as it's a difficult job. At this point I knew this didn’t sound right and I was getting shafted. I confirmed this by asking on a few Facebook groups, and was then advised of a really good local mechanic. They said my suspicion was correct - they said IF the fuel pump needs replacing they’d do the lot for $700, and that’s including towing from Rapid Tune to them! But guess what, they ended up towing it, fixing it in under 1 hour, and said the fuel pump was not faulty (only the fuel module needed replacing) and my total bill, including towing was just $400 - $150 for the towing, and only $250 to fix the issue! Unfortunately Rapid Tune still charged me for their auto electrician callout fee ($300) which was actually also unnecessary as well had I gone elsewhere from the start. Rapid Tune has lost me (and my family members) as a customer - I just wish I did this earlier. The new mechanic even found a few other very detailed items requiring attention (one of them being, the oil was over the maximum limit - last service was done by Rapid Tune). For a general service like oil/filter changes, they're probably okay, but for anything more, please - shop around - don’t simply agree. If I did (and I almost did!), I’d be $2450 in the red, AND without a car for 6 weeks…

Took my Toyota Yaris there yesterday for a general service. The guys were great and had my car done very quickly while I waited. The reliving manager, Isaac, was extremely helpful and very pleasant. I will be back!

Just get new tyres from Tyeoola online company they delivered to Rapid tune within a few days. Had them fitted today. Thank you for very prompt and very friendly customer service. I would highly recommend them.

"Cant speak more highly of the service here. Ill be a client for life" was my previous review 4 years ago when it was run by Whillan. I went in for a service in March to find it is now run by the company (no longer a small business franchise) and under new management. This time my car was returned with a broken reversing camera which they claimed was "already broken" when I came in. It is true I needed my battery replaced and so it would often turn off at times so as to not place strain on the battery. When my car was returned (with a new battery) it ceased to function at all. After finally conceding that I (as the customer) should not have to have something fixed at my own cost BEFORE they would even consider reimbursing me, I was offered a call from head office the next business day. That was 2 months ago and I am still waiting. I have now changed my review and will definitely not be returning under and circumstances.

The team at Rapid Tune Epping are amazing, from their warm welcoming service to their professional handling of the vehicle & services they provide. They make sure you are awake or important information and explain in depth to where even someone without knowledge would be able to understand. Time and time again I’ve taken my 3 cars to this store and every single time they fix the issue/s without fuss. They have worked hard and work even harder to put a smile on your face every time you come back. As for their personalities they all know how to make you smile and feel like you are welcome in the store, they will have a laugh with you and brighten up your mood if you’re feeling down. Just took my car in for a service, they found a bunch of faults that I paid another mechanic 5 grand to fix 4 months ago. All up the repairs still needed, or that needed redoing tallied up to roughly 2 grand. The boys seemed very genuine and sympathetic to the situation, they physically showed me what they'd done to the car and what was wrong. I believe they went above and beyond to try and minimise the pain, even pushing back closing time as they struggled with Holden to get the parts delivered to try and get the car back same day. It's never fun pulling up to the mechanic when you've literally got no idea what makes the car move, but I'll be coming back here in future as they made a great impression through a bad situation.

Got the front tyres changed on my wife s car. Rapid tune always do a great job. Previously they changed tyres on my daughter’s car and did a great job on that so decided to come back. They just did my wife’s car tyres and wheel alignment and again very happy. Everything was too easy. Great bunch of blokes to deal with and great prices too. Would definitely recommend them.

There are many mechanics in the Epping / Lalor area, but look no further than Rapid Tune in Epping. Issac really sims to look after each and every customer with both service and price. I’ve only had a couple of interactions with him, but found him to be hard working, honest and a brilliant mechanic. I cannot recommend this place more highly.
