Rapid Tune Braeside

Had water leak thru my converter, drove into rapid tune, Dylan and his mate checked it out straight away, picked up the part, fix it up and in an hour I was back on the road. Really happy with the service and how the handle it. Thanks again, deft highly recommended. Life saver!

Fraudulent business that will happily overcharge or add additional service items without your consent to raise revenue. Confirmed over the phone exactly what I wanted from this service but was hit with a $88 cost for a “computer scan” and a $38 “vehicle ventilation system sanitiser” cost - both of which I have never heard of in my history or servicing my car. When the issue was raised with Adam (manager) and coworker, it had not been rectified despite me pointing out numerous times that I was out of pocket $88 + $33 for jobs on my car I had never requested and once legal action was threatened, a partial refund was given (see the attached image). Completely unprofessional! Save your money and go elsewhere.

Great guys and very reasonably priced. Don't try to sell you things you don't need and do a great job. Very different level of attention, competence and service compared to dealerships.

I have now used Adam and the Rapid Tune team twice for service on my Outlander Hybrid. They provide a detailed analysis of the works they do, the service quality is of a very high standard as good, probably better than the dealer that ripped me off for the warranty period services. The price is great, no hidden extras, I am paying about 50% of what Mitsubishi dealer was charging me, and Adam treats me like a real person, not just a number. Thanks Adam and the team.

Way too Expensive. They didn’t do test drive after fixing my car. Oil levels are not fill upto their levels. When shift changes the next mechanic take over the shift he is not updated what is going on to ur car. One said u can come tmrrw we will fix the problem and another one said we r too busy today u have to come now to fix ur problem in the car. Not recommended.

I've been using this team for 2 years and have not had a single issue, nor have the 10 or so other ppl I have sent here. Great team, great prices. Highly recommended.

Great same day service, quality tyres and reasonable pricing. But most importantly these guys care about customers. I arrived on a flat tyre car, left it at the service and I was offered a lift to and from work, which is not far from Rapid Tune. Several years ago we also had to use Rapid Tune’s services and had the same, great service as now. Thank you guys for your work!

Went in to see Adam and the boys at RapidTune for a roadworthy on my Subaru Liberty. What can I say, just top notch and kept me in the loop with all works to be carried out on the car. Very Professional and great communication. I have to explain that my car is a fully imported Nissan 300ZX. I have had this car taken to a number of Mechanics and ALL have created more problems than they ever fixed. The Rapid Tune Braeside team not only talked to me about what my expectations were they understood the problems and worked through them with me one step at a time. They took a difficult to work on car with multiple problems created by previous inept mechanics, that ran like a tractor, and gave me back a sports car that purrs like it supposed to and can launch of the line like it was meant to. I would absolutely take my car back to the Rapid Tune Braeside team when I need anything else done. I wouldn't trust my baby with anyone else :)

Seems to be a nice large newly started workshop in the neighbourhood, I thank you Dylan for your quote and the free testing on my Territory other day, quoted parts including installation of Rear Shock absorber - upper bushing, Rear Trailing arm - lower front bushing, Rear Differential - bushing kit (3) for $1600. I did little shop around found all Nolathane genuine parts for about $ 470, and installation for $550 here in Braeside who runs workshop over twenty years, so I think we all want to save some bucks and for a good job, Unfortunately Rapid tune Braeside is pricy but I cannot mention about their quality of their service. guys if you want to save money pickup the phone and shop around I saved over $500 with some one else

Turned up at 8am, had organised a lift to pick me up, organised my morning around this and the guy goes ‘oh we can’t do the repair today Daniel tried to call you’ I have no missed calls or messages from Daniel. So wasted my whole morning and have to re book elsewhere because they don’t value their customers time

I needed my clutch looked at and I couldn't find anyone in the area who could look at it as quickly as Rapid Tune, literally same day service. Prices were comparative to others and I happily picked up the car the next day. I was amazed. A few days later my headlight went, popped into Rapid Tune to book and they said no need we will do it now. Rapid by name, Rapid by nature. Thank you Adam & the team. - Can wholeheartedly reccommend.

I can not praise the team at Rapid Tune enough. I was very nervous about dropping my car off this morning. Being a female I’ve been treated badly in the past by mechanics. The boys looked after me so well. They talked through everything with me before I left. They even drove me back to work! The communication from everyone was outstanding. When I went back to collect my car, everything was explained to me in detail. I highly recommend this company and I am definitely bringing my car back here! Recently I had to see a mechanic regarding our Toyota ,I was referred to Adam and his team by a friend and honestly he was onto everything, very professional in what he is doing, I normally wouldn’t leave my car to anybody but Adam was quite knowledgable explaining everything getting done and how long it might take and what would be the best option, he organized after hour pick up because of work and distance from him, he also helped with a RWC, such a great person thanks mate.

My drivers side Wiper failed in the pouring rain, hours from home. Bailey from Rapid Tune fixed it for me in 15 mins and had me back on the road safely ! Pity I don't live close by, or this would definitely be my mechanic of choice What a lovely bunch of guys, I'm eternally grateful ????

I first went to Rapid Tune Braeside in June and since then Adam, Ashlee and team have been looking after my car and my wife's. Service and Transparency are a rare thing to find in the auto trade but you will definitely find it here. I could not recommend these guys more highly. They are excellent at what they do and realistic about the time it takes and the costs that go with it. Add the above to their exceptional level of customer service and you simply can't go wrong. If you are not using Rapid Tune Braeside for your vehicle servicing and maintenance then you're doing it wrong!

My mazda surprised me with the coolant water reserve low. Checking my hose system l found that the fitting at the water pump had broken . I have my own machine who has decided to move to Fairfield for business reasons which made it hard to get there . Looking for a mechanic on line and reading reviews l noticed Rapid tune had some people who where experience great results. I must say contacting Rapid tune Braside speaking to Bailey l felt that l new the guy . I have been changing my own filters and oils due to distance and very happy to have trip over a great organizations who are great mechanically but service experience excellent. My Mazda has never run so smooth. I have had my mother inlaws car service there since and the kids that drive it noticed the difference . l have just booked the Mazda for a service and a water pump inspection . Pricing is responsible , business is doing it tough these days and Bailey and his teammates have really gone out of there way to make me feel that l am getting a fair price and believe l am to.!!! The guys at Rapid Tune went out of their way to make sure my R34 GTR was looked after. Needed an AC regased, ended up being a much more sinister issue which they were fully transparent about. Showed me the problem and went out of their way to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Really appreciate the effort.

Went there thinking I needed a brand new battery for my Merc, but the fellas tested my old one and said there was no need to replace it! YAY! Thank you guys, for treating me with respect (…being a woman, also not knowing too much about Mercs), and not doing it for a quick cash sale! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I am so happy I took my car to Rapid Tune in Braeside. Adam arranged a loan car for me so I could continue with my work day as usual. Adam and his team were both professional and so friendly and the service was very reasonable priced. Defiantly will be bringing my Volkswagen back to this place for its next service.
