My Fiat 500 needed a lot of love (full service, timing belt, external driving belt, rear tyres and various other bits and pieces), and it's driving like a dream after a service from Chris and the team. Despite booking in with little notice, it was a quick, 48 hour turnaround. Chris was helpful, professional and honest. Definitely recommend!

Avoid at all cost...... This company had supplied the roadworthy for a vehicle I purchased. After 8days my car had stalling issues. I took it to my local mechanic who noted and provided photo evidence of a major oil leak and coolant block which should have been repaired/noted on the roadworthy (8days prior). After contacting Chris from midas and sending email of report/photos obtained, I dropped my vehicle in to be assessed with them to fix (under roadworthy). I had first contacted midas 6days prior to advise of issues. On the agreed day of drop off @0730am ,I called at @1400 for an update where christ stated his still waiting for roadworthy photos which should of been originally taken. I asked Chris why he hasn't already obtained these as he was notified of the issue 6days prior and organised drop off of vehicle that day. Chris became rude and defensive implying that this issue happened within the 8day period after roadworthy was passed and I could pick up the car if I needed my vehicle. I explained that if I was to take and drive the vehicle and more damage was done then I then am liable for repairs. Chris replied that that was fine the car would sit there at the shop in the corner until he was ready to deal with it. I then went to pick up my vehicle as I didn't trust this guy with it. At the shop on pick up my husband was recording myself and our conversation (as iam now taking civil action). Chris and his mechanic were extremely confronting aggressive, getting into my husbands face and trying to be intimidating (all caught on camera). The other mechanic began pumping his music so load and reving a car to the point of it backfiring sounding like gunshots (i feel sorry for that customer who owned that particular car). The issue is now been reported to consumer affairs,vic roads and will be loding a VCAT matter once repair cost are known. Please avoid this mechanics.
