Finally an HONEST mechanic! Was recommended here after my daughter had a great experience. Had been stuffed around by so many mechanics giving different information. Tim did not give me random quotes over the phone but asked me to bring my car in for a proper assessment. He diagnosed the issue and had it resolved quickly without it costing me an arm and a leg. Will definitely be back!!!

Efficient booking, check-in and turnaround time. Would have given 5 ⭐️ but tried to rip me off. Lucky I compared prices with their Chatswood branch and they ended up price matching.

I had my new Hyundai serviced here. They were fast and very reasonably priced. They went above and beyond and secured my loose bumper trim without being requested. I was incredibly impressed and happy and will go back for all my car related issues in the future. Highly recommend this mechanic.

Cannot recommend this business too highly. Easy to book in my car for a service, reception is clean and tidy, booking dealt with efficiently and listened to what I had to say about my car! I was contacted to advise how much my service would cost, additional work that needed to be done and was sent an sms when the car was ready to be collected. So impressed with efficiency, professionalism, and additional care that was taken with my car. Fixed a 4 years issue my previous 2 mechanics could not fit! Could not fault any part of the service process. Will definitely use their services again and happy to recommend the business to others.

It’s rare that I get to rave about motor mechanics- in fact it’s never happened - but I went to Midas in Mosman and got great help. The person who helped me went above and beyond to help me, not charging me for something he was able to sort out for me relatively quickly. I went away with my issue solved and with minimum fuss. I’m forever indebted to Midas Mosman. They are an honest, down-to-earth team that care about the customer. I took my Audi to Midas Mosman, thinking it was due a major service. The team at Midas spent time reviewing the log book and uncovered that parts of this major service had been already completed in a previous service. They spent nearly an hour speaking to other service centres from previous service checks to determine if I needed all elements of the 60,000km service. I ended up saving $100’s. Please consider taking your car to Midas Mosman. I will be going forward from now!

Ken provided an excellent customer experience. He took my car in on last minute basis and provided a great service including replacing all brake pads ,machining brake disks and a service. He also notified me of a major service coming up and advised when it would be needed. He also made sure to make me aware of some smaller issues to look out for. Overall fantastic experience and very prompt service at a great price

Absolute ripoff merchants. Was simply trying to get pink slip inspection done. Should have been 15 mins. They tell me sorry I need new tires. I disagreed. They said because they input it into the government system there’s no way to change it until you replace the tires. Then quoted me a fortune for a new set! I then went to a much more reputable place. They told me: 1. There’s no way I needed new tires. At least another 9-12 months left on them. 2. They were telling the truth that because it is now in the system there’s nothing to do until I get them replaced. They did it for me 30% cheaper than Midas for the exact same tires. Avoid these guys!

The glowing reviews are correct! After a terrible over charged / under delivered experience with a Auto Service place in Manly last year, I decided to try Midas Mosman today for my rego, a burnt out headlight that needed fixing & a tyre that needed repair. Within a few hours the job was done, no up selling, no funny business, just honest work & fair & clear pricing. Thank you Tim, I just found my new go to garage.

I recently had my 2014 SUV Volvo serviced at Midas of Mosman. I was extremely pleased with the appearance and the service that was performed on my vehicle. The vehicle performed as if I’d picked it up from the showroom running as smoothly as it did when I first purchased the car. The service I received far out performed any service I had received from Volvo service centres.

Fast and efficient service! Needed to get a rego check done at the last minute due to forgetting about it and the team were able to sort me out with a walk in! No wait time nothing! Brilliant service and an extremely friendly team!

The pink slip service was performed in a manner today. They checked up safety points, including washers of windscreen and headlight. The washer fluids were sprayed and scattered on the whole bonnet area. The guy cleaned the fluids and water marks on the bonnet with microfibre cloths throuhly. That's awesome.

Went in to replace a tyre. Called ahead just in case to make sure they had what I needed. I got there and was greeted right away. They told me it would take 20 mins and sure enough was ready when they said it would be. Will go back here for tyres in the future.

These guys are awesome. Prices are the best I have seen. They call if any surprises, the work is always good quality and they are very well known in the area as the only place to go for reliable service at honestly fair prices. I was referred by an ex mechanic who told me this is the only place he will get his cars serviced - and I now find myself referring friends as well.

I drove straight to Midas Mosman when I noticed I had a flat tyre, luckily I was close by - it was a nail in the tyre - it was a Saturday morning and I was seen to immediately, tyre was quickly changed to the space saver (which meant I was not late to my next appointment) , I went back on Monday and the tyre was fixed and switched over. I would highly recommend the customer service and everyone I dealt with. Thanks for all your help!

Excellent customer service. Super friendly and helpful. Really great experience. Don't get your car serviced at a dealership, go to Midas Mosman. So much better. I had a dreadful experience at a Mercedes dealership telling me I needed new brakes. Midas had a look and confirmed not the case plus did not charge me for the inspection. Recommend highy.

Surly and unfriendly staff - I can deal with that - but then I received not one, but two unsolicited text messages asking me about the service. This is a totally unacceptable practice and breaches the ACMA guidelines. I will be making a formal complaint about this. Furious.

The gentleman at the front deck was very unfriendly and seemed to not care about customer service. I was wanting just a pink slip done. He ‘Failed’ my pink slip due to parking lights globes ‘not working’. Apparently it takes too long to fix it now and to book next week. It’s an easy fix. I fixed it my self and went elsewhere. Most mechanics would have fixed it then and there. It takes 10min. Midas at Mosmans are the typical dodgy mechanics. They are a scam.

Had a flat tyre. Midas at Mosman replaced and put on a new tyre in 15 minutes. Excellent service, excellent prices. Highly recommend.

Stamped incorrect section in logbook for incorrect vehicle model, mileage and duration then refused to adjust it. Would not give cost estimate for service over the phone prior to booking. Hostile and rude, very ordinary experience overall would definitely not return Edited to add that I also just received an aggressive phone call from Tim at Midas in response to this review. He argued with my points which were all true and was very unpleasant to talk to. He then hung up on me. I have no idea what kind of customer service relationship this place is running with hostile calls like this in response to a customer issue. My pregnant wife with 3 year old felt a misogynistic air of superiority the moment she walked in and this phone call just confirmed it.

Absolutely amazing service. I had an issue with my drain and it was looked into the same day. Very professional. Highly recommended!

Battery died close by and went to ask for help. The team at Midas promptly helped me change my battery. Super easy and friendly service. Will definitely be back again. Thank you, life savers!

I’m not in the habit of writing reviews but excellent service deserves to be recognised. I noticed my car had an issue. I phoned Midas at Mosman and Tim said bring it up now…he and the crew checked out my car straight away. I left to attend other business and came back 90 minutes later. Problem sorted! Very rare to get such great service these days.

Just had my work vehicle rushed in for a service. They squeezed me in with short notice, did an amazing job and fabulous price. I’ll get all of my work vehicles serviced there from now on

Really easy dealing with this Midas franchise. Tim called me to confirm my booking details and reconfirmed the areas I wanted his team to investigate. He provided a clear price. The car was serviced as per the logbook requirements, plus the additional work I asked be done around the aircon filter. Less than 3 hours later I had my car back and a fully itemized invoice. Would recommend these guys for a seamless and transparent experience.

After my brother had a great experience at Midas Mosman he said I should give them a try when I picked up at screw in my tyre. As the screw was right at the edge of the tread it couldn’t be plugged and had to be replaced but they did a temporary plug to stop it going down and ordered a tyre that came in by 3pm that day. I came in at 9am the next day and it was fitted in less than 15 minutes and all for a price much better than any of the big tyre places. 100% recommend them!

Fantastic service today at Midas Mosman. My car had a flat battery stuck in my garage at my apartment building 5 mins walk from Midas. They sent Alex with me to my building to jump start my car, drove it back to Midas, and then replaced my battery. All done in about 15 mins. Really went out of their way to help me. Highly recommended ????

After receiving a message on t dashboard that said left dipping light main headlight needed replacing I took t car into my local Midas at Mosman this morning. I got a call to say t bulb does not need replacing as t wiring was not clipped properly and it didn't need to b done (it must hve bn from our Audi dealer, we dealt with b4) and no charge to me for this. I'm v happy with t service at Midas and thanks to Tim and t team. Steph Bentley

15/10 for service. Slow leak which turned out to be a cracked rim. Got me fixed up and back on the road in no time. Went way above and beyond for service and will 1000% be using these guys again in the future. Thank you Midas Mosman Team !!!
