On 20/08/22, I got my car serviced by Midas and I had a really positive experience I’d like to share. For starters, Midas’ website provides an itemised list of the tasks that will be performed for your desired service (in my case it was my annually car maintenance). I like to research providers to compare service value and this made Midas stand out to me as a provider. In addition to this, first impression of costumer service at Midas Harbour town was fantastic. The gentlemen I spoke to over the phone when booking/confirming the appointment, and when I attended the facilities in person, were all really welcoming, friendly and helpful. I don’t know much about cars and yet they answered all my questions in terms I could easily understand. Also, I got to pick up my car earlier than expected which I appreciated. I received a ‘thank you for your service’ card at the end of the service which I thought was a lovely gesture.
Some other things worth mentioning:
1. Saturday bookings available (super helpful if you work 9-5 jobs like myself)
2. Afterpay payment option available (great if you are on a budget like me)
3. Reasonable and accesible prices for new wheels (Also a win for me as I love affordability)
4.Harbour Town Midas is in front of a shopping centre should you wish to spend time there while waiting for your car to be serviced
I’ve had negative experiences in the past with mechanics either overcharging me for services/wheels or performing extra services without my permission, especially since I am a women with very little knowledge of cars. When approaching Midas for my car service I had (what I call) a bit of healthy paranoia, making sure things progressed as discussed. Needless to say they exceeded my expectations and I’m really happy with the outcome. I would recommend Midas to family and friends, and also return as a customer.
