Midas Coorparoo Tyre & Auto Service

Towed my car to them, they called 12pm (closing time) to tell me its fine nothing wrong with it. Didnt even check the things i pointed out to them the day before. Said they cant check it now because the mechanics are gone and I will have to wait till Monday but the car is fine to drive. Can't really understand why they couldn't call earlier. Took it out and it stopped in the middle of the road 20mins later. Had to pay for towing AGAIN to a mechanic that will actually LOOK at it this time. At least they didnt make me pay (they didn't even check it so its only fair) but I wasted my time, towing expenses, and ubering back and forth.

Had a catastrophic differential and propeller shaft failure and they could not find parts however I managed to get hold of since my car is a bit rare. They worked with me, were very patient and charged me fair labour cost. Made it a a lot less stressful!

Careful of the Double Mass Flywheel scam. Midas said that my clutch replacement would cost $2500 because my car had a double mass flywheel. When I decided to have a look myself. Guess what single mass flywheel. Don't get scammed by Midas!

I had a problem changing the spare wheel. When I went to Midas, the man changed it quickly and he didn't want to charge me anything. I had a hard day and the kindness and good treatment of this man rewarded it. Thank you very much! ??

Midas Coorparoo has been great over the years for both my cars- I have used them many ties and always an amazing experience. Very easy to deal with, very reasonable, no surprises, Frank is just an amazing Manager - always calls and discusses issues prior to fixing and alternative pricing if available. Never been disappointed after so many visits - highly recomended....

Highly recommend these guys. Visited 2 months ago for the first time for car service and maintenance. Very reliable and efficient. Went again yesterday to change all 4 tyres. Again, very efficient, professional and prices are really affordable. Very friendly service and always helpful. Location is great. Many cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and even a cinema within walking distance. Both times I dropped the car off and spend the waiting time to have coffee and nice meal.

Got my log book service done here last week and I was very happy with both the price and customer experience. The mechanics are experienced and know their stuff. They used quality brand name oils and filter which is nice. Not just generic cheap stuff like some places do. My car drives and feels A1 after getting scheduled maintenance done here. I like the location too. Close to shops/cafe/train station. Would recommend these guys ?

I’ve found my new mechanic! Frank and the crew are excellent. My cars engine was misfiring so I took it to Midas because they’re 100 metres from my house. Service was excellent! They got me in straight away. Diagnosed and repaired in one day and the price was WELL below my expectations. Great branch. Great people and great service.

Often greeted by name and always willing to move around and make it work for you as convenient as they can. Total transparency in pricing and urgency. Great blokes with excellent service.

Sal was extremely pleasant and efficient in booking my car in and organising the required servicing. The car was clean when I picked it up the documents filled and the process was clearly explained. Price was acceptable. And on top of that it was a short walk to & from the workshop. I will be going back next year for next service.

I made a reservation online for Saturday. When I arrived, I found out that the opening hours I saw online (google map and Midas website) were false because they were not open at all on Saturday.

Terrific local auto service in Coorparoo! Nothing was too much trouble, all the guys there were easy to deal with and they fitted us in for an urgent battery replacement without any hassle. Highly recommended!

I was looking for help with a damaged tyre near Midas Coorparoo and while they were not able to fit a new tyre straight away the chap was very helpful, checking all his stock and then putting me in touch with another local supplier who got me out of trouble and on the road again. I would recommend these guys just based on this good service alone, it's getting hard to find this in today's world. Thank you very much.

As a single female I've never fealt ripped off here. Very genuine service, have done a decent job of my car services and fixes and will go above and beyond to be flexible with your schedule. Price is reasonable too. Highly recommended.
