This place is clearly overbooked and poorly managed, we've been customers for years and use to go to Midas specifically for their customer service and after giving them SEVERAL 2nd chances - we will NEVER BE BACK.
Problem: Our car was showing lights on the dash (handbrake, traction, etc - NO check engine light) so we took it in thinking it was an electrical problem.
Midas asked up to drop off our car at 7AM and estimated that the car would be ready for pick up at midday. At 2PM, my husband called for an update as we need our car for work and Kevin (the franchise owner) met him with short replies, long sighs, and then abruptly hung up on. When I called back, I was met with the same attitude and a different variation of the story he has just told my husband in front of me.
Midas ended up keeping the car overnight and when we picked up the car the next morning we were met with a invoice that had unneeded charges on it.
- $40 for bolts (When enquired about they couldn't tell us where they replaced them.)
- 2 hours of labour (expected and happy to pay)
&NO SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM WE CAME IN WITH
Safe to say, we gave them more than enough chances over the past few years and they still managed to not fix our car and disrespect us.
