Not only do they do a great job, they take the time to explain everything to you instead of just presenting you with a massive bill upon checkout! For someone like me who truly knew nothing about cars before Midas Ashgrove, it has made a world of a difference. Got a quote for an O2 sensor by Midas at around $320 before I booked car in to get fixed. Then on the day the car was booked in after i had dropped car in, I get a new quote stating it's the more expensive $685 O2 sensor. O.....k..... Asked them to diagnose faulty A/C system, charged $180 for a re-gas and still failed to diagnose fault. I acknowledge I could have said no to the work, however, would be better to have some more clarity on what work is chargeable and what isn't.

Midas Ashgrove done my 120k service and done a good service plus having a seniors discount was great the cost was $265. Discounted to $214.50 which was great also the mechanic who did my service sent me a video which in all the years I hav had cars service Midas is the only company I no that does it that way I no what has to be done and cost I found Midas tha good iam taking my car to them to fix the problems that was on the video plus I get seniors discount I highly recommend Midas tyre and auto Ashgrove

I was very unhappy with my service. I spent thousands of dollars getting my car fixed thinking they would do the right thing. I got my car back to find things still leaking, bolts snapped and missing and parts zip tied together. The mechanic didn’t use genuine parts which meant some holes weren’t aligned. Due to these issues, I had to send the vehicle back for a second time to get them to rectify all the issues that I found. I was without a car for nearly 2 weeks which proved to be a huge inconvenience.

I needed to organise a last minute vehicle RWC as the previous one had expired, Shaun and the guys were very helpful, and got it arranged very quickly with no fuss, fantastic service

I shopped around looking for a new mechanic to do my annual wheel alignment, rotate and balance. I've found these guys to be efficient in the service and a job well done. Will be returning.

When they changed my battery, it was supposed to put in a start/stop type but they put in a normal battery and charged for $285. My car dead quite a number of times on the road requiring me to call for jump starts. I lost a couple of hundreds dollars because of it, which is annoying. After I went back for the third time to ask for replacement under warranty, they finally found out the battery type was incorrect and replaced me with a brand new one. I appreciated for their effort but the cost of my trouble and time is still greater than I expected. They did not plug in the memory minder when changing the battery, all my details in electronics all disappeared. Other services cost are also higher than expected. Really bad experience. I personally would not go there again.

Super prompt, professional and great value service from Midas today when I needed to swing by unannounced with an issue in my daughter’s car. They truly are a “one stop shop” in every way imaginable. ????

I needed a radiator replaced asap. Midas Ashgrove fit me in that day and completed the job by early afternoon. Great Service and Communication.

I did my logbook service 6 months ago here and paid $1.2k to change a bunch of stuff, including asking them to check my car key when I dropped the car since it wasn't working well. They said they weren't sure, but they can change the battery. When I picked up my car, I asked about the car key again and it's replaced apparently, so I paid for everything including the cost to change the key battery. It still wasn't really working after that which I thought might be the key issue (was gonna bring back to toyota). Checked at locksmith recently and they opened the key, then found out it was still the original battery. So, Midas Ashgrove charged me for the cost to replace the battery but didn't end up replacing....

A bit surprised that after a massive service only a few weeks ago, the spark plugs hadn’t been picked up and needed replacing. I thought they were part of a general service.

Had a good experience - change of rear brake pads and new rotors on Audi Q5. They gave me a loan car which was a late model Mazda CX-5. Very convenient and helpful reception staff.

These guys are life savers! My ute slipped out around a corner last week in the wet and I ended up on the side of the road with a flat in my rear right hand tyre. Unfortunately my spare was in bad shape and not fit for use. I pulled the wheel off and walked it over to Midas. The young fella out the front put his tools down and helped me straight away. Luckily, after washing off they tyre and the rim, the tyre reseated without any problems. I walked into the office where the ladies sent me on my way free of charge! Nothing feels better then being looked after when things start going sideways (literally). I can't recommend these guys enough!
