Pete and the team successfully diagnosed, through a time consuming process of elimination, a potentially dangerous and annoying chronic problem with my car. The problem had initially been caused by a, not so careful, dealership mechanic 12 months earlier. Repairs were done on the spot and my car is now running perfectly. Pete and the Midas Tweed Heads team will definitely be my go to mechanics from now on.

Peter and his team provided honest, detailed technical advice and sourced parts promptly. They did not look to "over service" the vehicle and were interested in a safe, effective outcome. Peter knows his vehicles (mine is a 2013 Land Rover) - and I would definitely take it back to him everyday of the week over the dealership on the Gold Coast.

Did a great job. Never went back when car was fixed, just kept running like a dream. Good bunch of bloke's. Very impressed thankyou Guy's for taking care of the car.

Booked my Hilux in for a general service, however the Midas team informed me the alternator needed replacing. Midas explained and showed me in great detail what it should be doing and what it was doing. The team replaced the alternator and surviced my vehicle in time and at a responable price. Also completed a full car complete check over. I well be using Tweed Heads Midas for all my michanical needs.

Very happy, mechanic advises for the longevity of the car. When working on car, the mechanic is always on the lookout for other problems and lets me know. I feel that my car is in good hands.

These guys know there stuff! Fitted all new suspension to my hj61, Peter and Cameron are very professional from emails to install, also when we did run into a small issue they fixed the next day free of charge! Great guys great work Doug.

I had never met Peter and his team before I brought our 4wd in on the back of tilt tray 3 Friday’s ago. He and his team waited until 7:30pm until we arrived.( on a Friday night) He has been nothing but genuine, honest and extremely customer focused in all our dealings with him. Parts have been hard to come by and delayed our repairs. Pete and his team stayed back until after midnight heading into GOOD Friday to try and get our car back on the road so we could head back home to Sydney I have never heard of another mechanic (certainly not where we are from)showing this type of dedication to his customer If your travelling to the Goldy or through and have an unfortunate breakdown experience like we did - I have no hesitation in recommending Pete and his team - from our experience he will do his very best for you and not BS you. Had leak in front of car for 6 months. Had been to 2 mechanics 4 times and couldn’t fix it. Midas fixed it so quickly and we’re amazing. They kept searching till the problem was solved. Great service knowledgeable and they explained everything. Highly recommend these mechanics. Will be using these guys again. Than you so much. And very reasonably priced. Yay no more leaks.

Have had my car serviced by Midas for a few years now, on this occasion needed pink slip. Was attended to quickly Staff always polite and friendly... highly recommended.

I had a personal issue happening in my life. I was in a position where I required a pink slip in 2 days or my car would fall out of registration. I couldn’t find anyone with appointments available including Midas - however Midas was the only place that HELPED ME - I was incredibly impressed & grateful !!

Peter took my car for a drive during a very busy time, he was not stressed that he didn't really have the time to give . He correctly advised me of the problem I had and booked me in for a repair. Another repairer had advised me incorrectly of the repair required and did not test drive the vehicle. After my car was completed it has been driving beautifully. I felt as a new customer that Peter treated me as if I had always been a long term customer. . I am pleased I found Midas Sth Tweed as I can trust their advice and price. .

I paid a mobile auto electrician a $90 call out fee then $120 for a fuel fuse and labour then GST and the problem with my car wasn't a fuse. A mechanic from Midas fixed my car and explained everything. I'm on a pension and feel their fee was fair and having the buy now pay later with HUMM made it all so much easier. Really though with mechanics these days it's all hit n miss.... their just not what they use to be back in the day ( 70,s 80,s 90,s) Sadly the mechanics of this day n age have no idea what it means to have loyal customers who never go elsewhere.

Midas at Tweed Heads is the only mechanic we go to now. Peter and all his team are wonderful and are always conscious of cost and time for their customers. Most importantly they don’t treat women like they know nothing, always respectful and explain everything and the urgency behind it all.

This place is so good, they did the service, explained things such as sounds my vehicle makes and the steering feeling. Gave me quotes for future repairs, listed them on quote in order of urgency. I have never felt so looked after by a mechanic and I didn't even know these guys, I will definitely come back, they are great.

If you have an older car, better to take it elsewhere. When servicing our car we were told that it would cost $4500 to do repairs to get the car to roadworthy (mainly for cracked rubber parts), for a $5,000 car. We stressed about this for the better part of 6 months before our car was easily passed by another mechanic and well reviewed by a 3rd mechanic also.

Pete and the team are awesome and most importantly honest and reliable. For a no hassle no extra surprises service or repair this is the place too go in Tweed. Cheers Pete and crew.

Have had my car serviced by Midas for a few years now, had car serviced today, was seen to immediately after arriving and service was completed in good time while I waited ... reasonable cost. Staff always polite and friendly... highly recommended.

Pete was very helpful. I rang at 5pm on a Friday, in a bit of a pickle, and they got my car in straight away, even though they were fully booked. The guys stayed late to fix my car and get a blue slip on a Friday arvo. Just good blokes who were happy to help. Gave me a good run down on the condition of my car and things to look out for. Couldn’t recommend enough

We had another local company incorrectly install shocks for our Holden. We went to Midas & they were fantastic, if you need the job done right first time, go see the boys, they know what they’re doing. Highly knowledgeable team. Had front brake pads done here with additional bleed brake system... Arrived before 8am van was punctually under Midas roof 8am... Walked to MacDonald's close by for coffee and a toasty.. l get a call at 8.45am job was done. About 450 lighter l had new pads a brake system flush and probably the towns record for the fastest brake job ever.... Van was pulling up pretty much the same as it always did so l carnt say it was better but it definitely wasn't worse. About a week or so later l was walking back to my van and noticed a ding underneath checked other side another like a vehicle hoist placed in wrong place Only hoist it had been on since l noticed it was Midas... Had a chat with the shop manager who is an excellent communicator but I knew would go nowhere . Wouldn't say Midas is much cheaper for a service than Toyota and a wait time of about 2weeks to get in.. If it wasn't for the suspect Jack dings l probably would have given Midas a 4

these guys are brilliant .... they were booked out for 3 weeks but managed to do my pink slip for registration with a day notice during peak times ... done with accuracy and with my benefit in mind to get me back on the road quickly .... thanks guys !!

Thoughtful and spoke my language. Prepared me for my Next visit and told me how that would improve My car performance and what it does!
