Cox Automotive has gone and I needed to find a new mechanic. I used Taplins today for the first time to service my 360,000km Hilux. A thorough job and professional service. Sad to see Glen Cox gone, but I’ve found my new mechanic in Taplins.

Rang Taplins automotive and got a quote for an exhaust, i took the quote and got my exhaust done and when i went to pay he charged me double then what quoted. Will not return.

Just dropped by for a pink slip all done in 10 minutes easy as very obliging

Very helpful and friendly service

Just had my Kia Rio service by Taplins at Camden,good news is cheaper than 2021, +they replaced the rear windscreen wiper. So I'm very pleased with the service is excellent and the staff Emma behind the desk are very understanding and professional and friendlyWill definitely go again in 2023.

We ask them to check the car before a long trip to make sure it was safe to do it and luckily nothing happened on the trip as they missed very basic stuff. Told them to check the brakes and they said where fine and our mechanics at home checked and the brake pads were gone... same with others issues we found out after the trip. We paid way too much for the risk of having an accident because of the lack of care of these professionals.

Excellent service. Fixed a long standing problem in my car that no other mechanic has in the whole time I've had this car. John is a friendly, knowledgeable and professional guy. Highly recommend this business; I know how hard it is to find a good mechanic!

Johnny and the boys are absolutely amazing. Fairly priced and very knowledgeable. All care taken when working on it. I wish there were 10stars but google only allow 5 :-) very happy customer here

I cant begin to say how great these guys are.. was able to book on a Saturday (bonus) very friendly and so well priced.. I usually go to my dealer but after a few bad experiences I decided to change.. coming here does not effect my warranty so I was very happy.. highly recomend..

Again today at Taplins getting my spyder passed 4 Rego next week my motorbike and then yearly service my car. I wouldn't go anywhere else for service an price.
