Hi everyone at Midas Kirrawee. Booked in for brake check with impending long haul trip coming up. Had a call re brake pad and rotor condition as OK for the trip ( about 5k). Only item required was bleed and replace brake fluid which I agreed was a good idea as fluid does become quite discoloured with age/impurities etc. Was given options to think about for new disc pads and replacement disc rotors. The rotors are at minimum thickness and cannot be machined any further. Good advise to use the existing pads/rotors for just a bit longer and replace when I get back. Nothing but top points for the advise. P.S. These guys previously replaced my LHS CV joint on my 4WD.
