As you move around Yarraville you see lots of cars with little yellow Midas stickers. That's because the locals know that Midas Yarraville is the place to go. Darren and Jason provide great service, never mansplain you, and although they are always busy will somehow manage to squeeze you in if it's urgent.

The Midas guys in Yarraville are always great. Fast and honest, they don’t do work unnecessarily and their work is very professional. Highly recommended.

I used Midas Yarraville once before because my daughter and her husband have taken their cars to them for years. I knew my service was overdue and my tyres were quite bad. I booked my car in, and I was phoned by them telling me exactly what was needed including four new tyres, it wasn't cheap and I'm a pensioner with multiple health problems, but I listened to their expertise and went ahead with everything. Considering I have my grandchildren in my car with me at times I certainly wouldn't ever jeopardise their safety. Even though I don't drive very far, I at least have the confidence to drive and know that it has been well serviced and I won't be stranded. I will be on time for my next and future services.

I would like to put in a good word for Darren, Jase and the guys at Midas Yarraville. These days they are always booked well ahead which says a lot in itself. I always take my car to Midas Yarraville as, especially being a female customer, I have always found the guys to be down to earth, honest and to really look after me as a customer. Most importantly, for any ladies looking for a great service centre, my car hasn't developed new strange 'issues' that require another booking a couple of weeks after a service, which i have found to be the case at other places in the past. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Midas Yarraville.

I'd highly recommend the Yarraville Midas to anyone looking for a quality mechanic. I've found their prices very reasonable, the staff are friendly and tell you what parts need to be replaced urgently vs what can wait until the next service (important if you're on a budget), and the work is completed very quickly (I can't remember the last time my car wasn't ready on the same day.

I had an issue with my car whilst driving down the free way, that to me seemed like a massive inconvenience. Called up and with only and hour to go in the day they told me to swing by for them to look. After a couple of min 2 of the guys said leave it with us for 10 min and we will get you back on the road. I barely had time to get a couple of bottles of water from KFC next door before they were backing the car out. Great customer service and although not everything is as quick and easy as this was they made it seem like it.

They are a very honest and reliable business. I have no hesitation in recommending them to friends.

Absolutely happy with service, the guys at Midas Yarraville have been exceptional in the service (all types) in my cars for the last 10yrs. I feel I can trust them, and there knowledge on any problem car related. My last car was booked for major works , and expected turn around was 2 days. Midas had a cancellation or 2 on the day, and rang me at 4.30ish that same afternoon, saying all works were completed. Bam! How good! I Highly, highly recommend Midas Yarraville for your cars needs.. cheers blokes!

These guys put on new rotors and pads on my car. I am regretting the day i went there due to them chipping my Brembo brakes. They totally destroyed the look of them and i would not recommend these guys. They also didn't put my brake fluid lid on correctly and i had brake fluid spill in my engine bay.

Thankful to Mr. Darren and his team, for taking my limping car for emergency DPF regen, after witnessing my situation( Arrived from TAS on the ship and had to leave the next day). None of the Subaru team would take the car for an emergency assessment. Midas team got it fixed, didn’t charge me a fortune and am back in Tassie,on time. Really grateful!

Been going to Midas Yarraville since it opened. Never had an issue with repairs and they are reasonably priced.

The team at Midas were good in taking care of Mazda 3 service, repair and tyre change...

Called in late on a Friday afternoon / evening with a headlight not working. Was planning on some long distance night driving and the guys at Midas replaced the globe there and then without question.

Service was quick and efficient, good communication and fairly priced. Can highly recommend!

Darren goes above and beyond to do the very best he can for his clients. His knowledge and expertise of mechanics is impressive and if something tricky surfaces he will research it until he finds the solution. I trust my mechanic 110% !

After a dodgy experience at a competitor, this is my first time in over a decade going to one of these big chain service centres. We were also hesitant as the car was well overdue for a service (the car was a low priority during the COVID fog). Darren and Jason were friendly and honest. Importantly there we no mysterious or questionable problems discovered and the price was great (would have been better if I hadn’t been driving around on bald tyres!) Highly recommend.

I have always had polite, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable feedback from staff. Always given a phone call to explain all works carried out, or required, to complete my service and the costs involved. Whenever my car requires anything in the near future, it's bought to my attention, or I need to, eg: keep a check on my tyres. I highly recommended Midas Yarraville...

Fantastic service! After recently receiving awful customer care from Ultratune and experiencing a number of strange faults after servicing with them - Jason was honest, reliable, and understanding with all my concerns. After being quoted $700 for a new thermostat from Ultratune (heater was not working after their service) Midas Yarraville communicated a piece of paper had got stuck from inside the glove box / air vent areas. They removed this for me - free of charge, and I had my car back within the hour. I will be recommending Midas Yarraville to all my friends and family - especially women looking for a trustworthy mechanic they can rely on. Thank you again, will definitely be back!

Had my alternator changed, I was overcharged $150 -$200, left my car greased all around and when I explained to them that I was overcharged that didn’t accept it. I don’t recommend them

We’ve been taking our family car to Midas for about 5 years now, and always really happy with the service. We’ve found them to be honest, friendly, reliable & really helpful. On one occasion, when I damaged the bumper bar, i brought the car in for a quote. They fixed it on the spot, no charge! On another occasion, I was unable to collect the car after being serviced, because my bubba was sick & refusing to go in her pram - they drove the car home, no drama. If you’re looking for a great, trustworthy team to service your car, I highly recommend Midas!

Had a car service a couple of weeks ago, had no issues, seemed like decent people. Received a call today asking if I used Humm as the payment method and I responded yes. He then asked if I told them I was using that method and I said no. I could hear he was already upset and the tone of the his voice, he said you have to tell people because now I’ve got to pay a fee and kept blabbing on. I explained that Humm is listed as a payment method on their site and I don’t have to tell them what payment method I am using. He stated I shouldn’t have to pay your fee because of the payment method you used and was being rude and the nature of the call was unprofessional. He said Midas uses Humm but I don’t because we’re hit with fees which I can understand that, but I can’t be a mind reader and assume they don’t for whatever reason if it’s listed on the Midas Website. That’s for him to discuss to Midas however that works to take that payment option away if it does not best suit their business. Not to put back onto customers and telling them off. There are reasons certain apps give you cards with MasterCard/visa abilities to not have to explain the payment method. Had he called and had been more professional I would have happily paid the $20 fee or whatever it was as I understand business can have it hard.

The staff at Yarraville Midas did an excellent job and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Words can not express my gratitude for Jessie and Darren sorting me right out. Had my Mazda 323 with a diagnosed faulty water pump and they serviced the car in the same day. 5/5 stars with the most reliable and professional team. Highly recommend them, if you want the best automobile service in Melbourne!
