This workshop is really fantastic because I went there to check my car making some sound while press break ,mechanic guy wearing cap he straight away took car for test drive then he lift car and check each and everything did some cleaning and most important how he explained me about issues that was awesome. I feel I know each and everything about car really that was a good experience . Highly recommended to everyone.

Had a booking for an 8am drop off to get my car serviced, opening hours are from 8am, got there at 8am and there was nobody there and no answer of the phone, waited till 8.15am, still nobody, so rang UltraTune and got my car serviced there instead.

Need a mechanic? MIDAS well do your research. Businesses like these are reason mechanics have a bad reputation. Take it up the road to Automotive Technix instead. Car was taken in to resolve a noise when the vehicle turned, demonstrated the noise to the mechanics on site. Mechanics quoted $920+ to fix the issue and service the vehicle. gave the go ahead. When the vehicle was returned, the issue was the same, if not worse. If the vehicle was “Road tested up to 60km/hr” as displayed in the service invoice, they would have identified this. When contacting the mechanic, every immoral, sleazy sales tactic was used to try and up sell more, even considering the transmission to be replaced. Called a local mechanic Automotive Tenchix up the road, they understood and even knew the issue over the phone, took it in and had it quoted, the moment the vehicle was jacked up, it was plain as day that it was the wheel - Not even something that MIDAS considered. They replaced the wheel bearing for the part cost and one hour of labour. All parts replaced by MIDAS were never the cause of the issue - They were also replaced on the opposite side to where the issue was to add insult to injury. Midas returned the vehicle to me “Fixed”, even put their sticker on the back window when it was completely unsafe to drive, quoted and replaced things incorrectly three times, previously gave the same vehicle a Wheel Alignment, with no noticeable change; Acted like the good guys throughout the process, while essentially committing daylight robbery. I will never be returning and urge you all to do the same.

Signed up for their VIP savings which was $200 to sign up for and was promised cheap services and free labour costs called to book in my car for service and they quoted me $380 after the labour costs were removed. After ringing multiple other Midas stores and other places I was quoted max $300 from them. I tried to contact the person who sold me the VIP and have gotten no response.

UPDATE- Was contacted by the owner, Naman who offered a $150 refund to remove the review as it was affecting business. Advised that it was an insult, and he would speak to the business manager and contact with a better resolution. Then never reached out again, nor answered any forms of attempted contact. Excellent service and Sonny went above and beyond. I was given a quote from a high profile company just for rear brake pads and Sonny blew them out the water, not just on price but on service and the quality of the parts. Sonny and his team had replaced not just the rear brake pads but called me about my rotor discs when he saw that they would be too thin after machining to be safe. They were also replaced at the last minute and even after including the rotor discs, his price was still less than the big name company who only quoted for brake pads. I'll certainly be going back.

Had a new exhaust fitted ....the tail pipe was hitting on tow bar and was given the car at pick up this way....After aprox 3 mts after fitting found out the exhaust was hanging on by the skin of its teeth

Excellent experience from Sonny and his team went beyond to replace clutch and master cylinder also helped with solving other issues with my ve commodore v8 I found Sonny to be very professional and helpful and delivered quality service at a fantastic price thank you very much to the team great job will definitely get my car serviced here in the future

Absolute worst experience.Took in my partners car to get fixed as it was having issues with stalling and the ECS light coming on. Left with the same issues and was still charged $500 for it! I took it to another mechanic who told me that the previous mechanic didn’t fix anything that actually needed fixing and instead did the things i told him not to worry about because i’d be taking the car back in anyway to get some other things fixed. Severely unhappy with the service i received. Especially after the man who called me was extremely unclear on the phone and didn’t give me any chance to ask questions or seek clarification on anything. Never again will i use this Midas.

The team down at Para hills Midas has been absolutely amazing with not only their customer service but the quality of work that I was lacking fron my previous mechanics.
