These guys are “CHEATERS “ Yesterday I have been to this shop to fix my break pads on both sides. They said to the coast is $320 then I paid amount in advance. But when repairer giving back to my car he said they did only one side for $320. I don’t understand does the break pads and disk cost $320 for one side?? I have check with other people the actual cost maximum per one side is $230 but they steal my money of $100 for nothing. Absolutely they are cheaters in Ballarat. All the people who are going please check what they are doing and how much they are charged you. I don’t recommend this service for any one. Once cheater and be always a cheater.

I need my car to get to work and couldn't get onto the previous mechanics who had supposedly fixed the problem 3 mnths ago (Nov). Sam greeted me pleasantly, and altho they were fully booked up he told me to come in & we'll see what we can do (i think he heard the concern in my voice:) They were brilliant - Adam explained the problem in terms I could understand - the fuel pressure was very high causing my car to stall & stop at the most inconvenient times . The coil pack I had installed by Hertzford St Mechanical Repairs in Nov did not fix the problem and was not necessary. MIDAS i will be back. You guys are amazing. Thank you heaps. Erina Fell

Fantastic and extremely fast. Price was almost $300 cheaper than any other quote for the same work.

Long story short, went to Swan Hill for the weekend, it was hot went to use air-conditioning and it didnt work.. googled aircon reapairs in Ballarat and Midas was one of the 1st that came up.. went and saw them on the Monday and if it wasnt for the fact that we had things that had to be done i could have dropped car of then.. Dropped it of Tuesday morning and a few hrs later had a call to say that the condenser had a hole in it and needed to be replaced car had to stay over night.. Picked it up Wednesday morning all fixed.. Must admit it cost a little more than we thought, but these things happen with cars... Sam and the boys really looked after us, very professional and helpful... Very highly recommended.

Always use Midas Ballarat for regular services and have had engine light come on which they checked and fixed for no charge due to dirty fuel. The service and there work is exceptional and always for a good price. I highly recommend Midas to friends and family and appreciate all the staff and there great mechanic.

After getting the run around from another mechanic Midas was able to help me fix my car, and solve the issue straight away! Was able to explain what was happening with my car and while it stalled. Lovely service by Midas and they fixed my car very quickly too! Thank you so much! Definitely will go back and recommend!

I had a car service per the service book with Midas. Adam was so accommodating. Saved so much money than if I went to my dealer and everything went super smoothly. I highly recommend you give them a try. You wont be disappointed.

Midas were absolutely phenomenal from initial contact to picking up my expertly repaired vehicle. There was much required work and it was all completed expediently and any extra work which arose during diagnostics was communicated immediately and permission requested to complete the additional works. 100% satisfied with this brilliant company and, in particular, commend the efficacy and courtesy of the staff at Delacombe Midas for their amazing work and service.

The entire team at Midas Ballarat are amazing. I am always made to feel welcome and validated even if I’m not 100% sure what I’m talking about. Things are explained clearly and I am not made to feel stupid for asking a question. I would highly recommend anyone who needs any kind of mechanical repair head into the Midas at Ballarat. Prices are resonsable, extra work needed is recommended but not forced on you, they’re understanding and super helpful. I won’t take my cars anywhere else now because the services the Ballarat team provides is one in a million!

Amazing experience so honest ,professional we had a major repair done it was done in a day as promised. I would not trust my car in anyone else’s hands I know when it comes back to it’s roadworthy and is kept running like new , couldn’t ask for a more friendly team.

Cost me $120 and they couldn't find and didn't fix the problem as well as left my engine cover off my engine assuming I wouldn't notice being female.

Save your time and money. Dropped my car off at 8.30am for a pre-booked service and quoted a price for it, went in to pick my car up at 5pm and was told to bring the car back tomorrow as they “didn’t have time to look at it” today. Dropped the car off again the next day, upon pick up was told to pay a crazy amount for extra work they had done on my car (brakes, filters) which I did not give permission to do, they also tried to up the price of the service because it “took multiple days”. Scam artists.

Had an emergency and the guys looked at my car ASAP, which was an absolute godsend. Very approachable about the issue and sorted out my concerns within the hour. Awesome, thank you.

What a bunch of unprofessional fools Went in for a minor service , left with break pads metal on metal after they said it was fine but “unroadworthy “ they redid it but charge me another service labour fee $128.00 , Wipers x2 $216 Ball joint which they didn’t do Morning of I requested strongly what needed to be done do it At closing time , mechanic said I never got told that But funny when they did the pads it’s very convenient they did the rotors too So now what your going to charge me another labour fee for the air filter , front shockers , RH front ball joint and diff which you couldn’t be arsed doing today Also apparently rear tyres are unroadworthy yet you didn’t do or say until I picked up car , your a tyre shop you don’t have 235/45/17s ????‍♂️ Stay away from These thieves All up $900 for what $250 of that was service fees Love to get a reply on thinking letting customers leave on unroadworthy pads and charging another labour fee is correct business

May I suggest that when you quote someone in future that you send the quote in writing via a text or an email. What I heard as $400 when quoted verbally over the phone turned out to be $1,400. I was devastated but had no choice but to pay this and the main problem was the aircon not working properly which they were unable to fix.

I had my car breakdown and they assist really quickly and repairs my car on same day. Very responsive, reliable ,cheap and trustworthy.

Midas Ballarat Tyre & Auto Service fixed Air Con for a decent price, then i asked them to check the car for anything that the car would need fixing or replacing they found that something specifically to do with diesel cars that needed replacing and before fixing gave me a decent quote so came 2 weeks later to get that fixed too they were very understanding and knowledgeable. I would recommend them
